After a while a new windows popped-up saying that I’ve joined the chat and now I can type in there. I’ve asked other users and it seems to be a cross-platform bug with skype.

Well this is out of my area. Please report this to the forums. It’s a Skype bug. I only access API commands, but can’t change UI.

Great! I can now join public chats by myself and don’t have to ask Windows users to do that for me.

Unfortunately there are two major problems when using the handler with Skype 2.1.0.47:

1. The text input field is greyed-out, so I can’t write anything;

2. Chats appear as contacts in my contact lists and there is no way to remove them or exit the chat;

Can you please take a look at it?
